Plein Air is a French atelier-inspired café and eatery next door to the Robie House, a partnership between Soo Choi and Kevin Heisner of Heisler Hospitality. Coffee is served as drip, pour over, or espresso, drawn from a rotating selection of artisanal roasters that changes seasonally. The kitchen menu, developed with Art Jackson of Pleasant Farms and Pleasant Pies, offers European-inflected dishes such as biscuit sandwiches, quiche, and buttermilk pancakes. The café also pours wine by the glass and cocktails, and serves cold brew and matcha floats, affogato, and soft serve ice cream.
