Plowshares Coffee Roasters operates a cafe and roastery at 1351 Amsterdam Ave in West Harlem. The shop roasts its own coffee and sells beans through its website in addition to serving drinks on site. It hosts a regular live jazz series on Sunday afternoons, featuring a rotating trio and a house piano, drum set, and amplifier, with food, beer, wine, and cider also available. It also hosts a monthly music event called Free Bread on the first Friday of each month. Free WiFi has been offered at the location.
